Proprietorship is not something that should end in bad credit. If it happens while owning a franchise, you may have a cushion to fall on. If you go bankrupt, it will just end up with you suffering and looking bad. Remember - more than enough capital or do something else.

You will still need more capital with franchising, but it is a bit looser in regards to having to decide everything yourself. You are given instructions like a DIY kit for business, it is up to you to put it all together.

While it is not the same as owning a business yourself, it should not be too strict if you are the type of person that does not mind being under authority. All you have to do is to earn, and that should not be too hard if you actually know what you are doing.
